| Chief Administrative Officer
Karen brings her broad, diverse and cultivated work experience gained at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Cell Genesys, Robertson Stephens & Company, and the California State Automobile Association to her strategic administrative role. Prior to joining Carlson Beck, Karen worked at Heidrick & Struggles and Terra Search Partners where she enjoyed a working relationship with her current colleagues. Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Francisco State University, a Master of Theological Studies from the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley, A Graduate School of Santa Clara University and a California Master Catechist certification from the Archdiocese of San Francisco.
|Community Commitment: Previous Board experience includes San Francisco YWCA, and the San Francisco Hearing and Speech Center of Northern California. Karen currently works with adult religious education programs for the Archdiocese of San Francisco and in the detention ministries of Santa Clara County.|
|Personal Passions: Art and museums, creating and presenting visual lectures using images to illuminate the human spirit and theological connections offered in historical artwork, spending time with friends, and life with her two children.|
